PROCESS SERVER
NRS 648.014, A "process server” is an individual, other than a peace officer of the State of Nevada, who engages in the business of serving legal process within the state.
POSITION DETAILS
All process servers must be registered with the Nevada Private Investigators Board and have a work card or PILB (People who have their PILB security card, this is the same card and no extra paperwork with the PILB board is needed).
REQUIREMENTS
Current Nevada PILB security Card.
Current Nevada Driver's license and proof of Insurance.
Must drive your own vehicle.
18 years of age.
Able to pass a background check.
Own and operate a smartphone.
Must have a clean driving record.
LEGAL COURIER
A legal courier is someone who can handle 60 to 100 stops, getting in and out of their car, walking up several flights of stairs on a daily basis.
POSITION DETAILS
Positions can vary from full time to on-call . Work hours Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm with a mandatory 1 hour lunch. Distance deliveries the driver is compensated $.30 a mile round trip. Legal couriers are paid hourly with a $15.50 gas allowance of every 8 hours worked.
